Dartmoor Smart Counter
The Dartmoor Smart Counter is an app that allows you to speed up the scoring process of the printed version of the game Dartmoor. By scanning or entering the cards on your table after a just finished game you can automate the scoring of your laid out cards.
The App can handle up to 5 player results per scoring process. The scanning process is comfortable and you can also fastly edit your scan results. It is possible to exchange the scan results by QR Code between your devises. Sessions can be stored and edited. There is also a complete glossary of cards available. As this app is free you definitely need to give it a try… you will be surprised how easy the scoring can get.

Information for Tablet User:
Tablets, are not the first choice for taking pictures. Normally the front camera is much weaker than the rear camera towards the screen.
If a tablet front camera is not able to focus right on cards on the table there won´t be any chance that the scanning is working properly. A bad camera performance cannot be compensated by the app. Therefor a minimum requirement for the front camera on a tablet is more than 6+ MP.
Of course the Smart Counter for Forest Shuffle has the feature to also manually enter the laid out cards. You can still exchange your scoring via QR Code and the scoring is still way faster than calculating on paper. Also editing your entry at any time is more comfortable as on paper.
